ROLE: Designer
Crafted from durable, eco-friendly concrete, Central Logic stands as a testament to modern innovation and sustainable living amidst the urban hustle.
Its unique hexagonal shape - replicating that of a bees hive - maximizes space utilization while minimizing environmental footprint, offering residents a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. Each ‘hexagonal unit’ comprises of a living/dining space, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area designed to minimize resource consumption. Its green roofs and vertical gardens not only enhance the city skyline but mitigate urban heat effects, fostering a healthier and more resilient urban ecosystem.
Meticulously engineered to optimize natural light and ventilation, Central Logic creates an inviting and energy-efficient living environment for future housing solutions.
Proposal.
The vast majority of the Beehive is made from a series of interlocking hexagonal cells made of wax. It is in these hexagons that brood is raised and honey and pollen are stored.
Like the bees, the concept for central logic is designed around the ideology that residents work together to build their community.
